Description

This cheeky California sea lion (Zalophus californianus) seems to be smiling for the camera as it pops its head out of the Noyo River in the harbor at Fort Bragg.

I suspect this is a juvenile male sea lion because, though quite large, it lacks a fully-developed sagittal crest.
