Inyo mule deer family enjoying one of the last sunny days of autumn before winter kicks hard in the eastern Sierras. This fine art photograph of twin fawns with their mother was captured at the edge of a birch forest in the Great Basin of eastern California.

I'm a native coastal Californian transplanted to the foothills of the Cascades. Being near the mountains has afforded me the opportunity to become attuned to seasonal rhythms and infuse that sense of time and place into my nature photography. I love to take off on roads less traveled, especially when it means losing myself in some remote place until I feel like being found.
