Fine art seascape photograph of wild winter's windswept waves crashing against a sea stack and throwing rainbow spray into the sunlight. This scenic winter ocean landscape was captured along the rugged shoreline of Northern California's Mendocino Coast. The prominent white tower of the Point Arena Lighthouse caps the peninsula jutting in the distance. This historic landmark has been a beacon for sailors since it was rebuilt in 1908 after its predecessor was damaged by the devastating 1906 earthquake that decimated San Francisco.
