Fine art scenic photograph captures geologic splendor in northern Utah's high desert, near Flaming Gorge. Flanked by evergreens and yellow cottonwood and riding on a sea of sage, a colorfully banded mountain rises to touch a rainbow. The mountain, bathed in late-afternoon sunlight and banded with candy strokes of orange, magenta, gold and aqua, pops against dark storm clouds blowing across a brilliant blue sky. This scenic landscape photograph was taken in Ashley National Forest.
