Fine art landscape photograph capturing the bright autumn pockets of orange and yellow birch groves studding an emerald pine forest that carpets the hills. A dirt road dips down through the woods and around the bend, beckoning the traveler to journey on.

This Sunday afternoon scene in Ashley National Forest's backcountry is flushed with sunshine, lighting the gleaming trunks of birch and blazing warmly through their leaves. Lavender-tinged clouds float their fluff through a turquoise sky, completing the balance on this perfect autumn day in northern Utah.
