Description
An anthropomorphic figure that possibly depicts a Kachina, was carved and pecked into a basalt boulder on West Mesa in Albuquerque, New Mexico during prehistoric times. These Rio Grande-style petroglyphs, stretching for miles along the volcanic tableland, were created by generations of Ancestral Puebloan artists over thousands of years.
