Fine art wildlife photograph of five American White Pelicans swimming in formation on a mountain lake in northeastern California. They often fish in groups in shallow water, working together to round up the fish, then they scoop them up rather than dive headfirst into the water like gray pelicans.

I'm a native coastal Californian transplanted to the foothills of the Cascades.
