Description
A stylized mountain lion petroglyph takes center stage on a rock art panel carved and pecked into a gigantic block of basalt that’s balanced at the edge of a precipice high above the floor of the Chihuahuan Desert in southern New Mexico.
The Jornada Mogollon people developed their distinctive style of art between 900 and 1400 A.D. This site in the Tularosa Basin contains a concentration of over 21,000 amazing glyphs that stretch for miles across desert ridges.
This fine art petroglyph depicting a huge mountain lion is being offered in vertical format.
